I thought I’d pick up some classics for the season that are both trendy and traditional. Let’s start with a classic silk saree. Though traditional, the vibrant colors and patterns available these days make wearing one extremely trendy. 

Let’s move on to an A-line lehenga. Referred to these days as a ‘fish’ cut, this once-upon-a-time design is a rage these days. The ‘old but gold’ salwar kameez is another traditional delight. It’s taken over fashion ramps to become a closet must-have in any style. 

So, the next time you step out and wonder if you should put on something trendy or traditional, I say put on something that’s both!
