Dating back to the era of the Mughals, the
Angrakha style kurta symbolizes royal old world charm. An Angrakha
design is characterized by one side of the kurta overlapping the other
at the side and typically secured by dangling ornate tassles. It’s
usually fitted till the waist and then flares out to add endless flow
and volume to the outfit. The kind that makes you want to keep twirling!
If worn with a churidaar and high heels, the Angrakha
exudes classic elegance. Put it on over loose straight pants and slip
on a pair of juttis and you’ve got a modern and hip look. The Bollwood
brigade has hailed the Angrakha style kurta, won’t you?
